We usually make a drive up to Big Cottonwood Canyon and go for a little walk/hike around this lake at least once a year. It's a beautiful setting, and it's always nice to go there on a hot summer's day to beat the heat. Last year we saw a moose just off of the trail that goes along the lake~ it's amazing how retarded people are about the rule of keeping your distance from a wild animal, hmmmm??! There are always plenty of ducks and there are a couple of beaver dams along the way but we have yet to see the actual beaver.
